PPB vs PPM: Reading Hydrogen Claims
Hydrogen water brands often describe dissolved hydrogen concentration with PPB or PPM. The numbers can be useful, but they should be read as target or test-condition values unless a specific test method is shown.
What PPB Means
PPB means parts per billion. In product pages, it is commonly used to describe the target level of dissolved molecular hydrogen after an electrolysis cycle.
Why Results Can Vary
- Water temperature
- Water source and mineral content
- Testing time after the cycle ends
- Whether the lid stays closed before drinking
How Fulmor Presents It
Fulmor presents two target modes: 2 minutes for 4000 PPB and 5 minutes for 8500 PPB. Actual readings may vary by water quality, temperature, and use conditions.
