How to Maintain Your Fulmor Bottle
Proper maintenance keeps your Fulmor bottle producing high-concentration hydrogen for years. Here's a simple routine to follow.
Daily Care
- Rinse the bottle with clean water after each use
- Empty remaining water — don't leave standing water overnight
- Leave the lid off to air dry
Weekly: Self-Clean Cycle
- Fill with clean water to the max line
- Press and hold the button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes
- The self-cleaning cycle runs for approximately 3 minutes
- Discard the water after the cycle completes
- Rinse once more with fresh water
The self-clean mode reverses the electrode polarity to dissolve mineral scale deposits that accumulate naturally from water use.
Monthly: Deep Clean
- Fill with a mixture of water and food-grade citric acid (1 teaspoon per 300ml)
- Let it soak for 15-20 minutes (do NOT run electrolysis during soak)
- Rinse thoroughly 3-4 times with clean water
- Run one self-clean cycle after rinsing
What to Avoid
- No hot water — never use water above 60°C / 140°F
- No carbonated water — damages the PEM membrane
- No juice, tea, or additives — only clean water
- No dishwasher — hand wash only
- No abrasive brushes — use a soft cloth for the exterior
Electrode Lifespan
With proper care, Fulmor's titanium-platinum electrodes are rated for 5000+ hours of operation. If you notice decreased bubble production or lower PPB readings after extended use, contact support@fulmor.com for guidance.
